The Skill Genie provides a wide range of services, including AI-powered learning paths, coding assessments, mock interviews, resume evaluation, bootcamps, skill analytics, certifications, institution dashboards, and employer readiness tools. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access or use our website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, accessing, or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy: • Platform means The Skill Genie website, web application, mobile application, APIs, and all related services. • User means any individual, student, faculty member, recruiter, institution administrator, employer, or organization using the Platform. • Institution means any college, university, training institute, educational organization, or academic partner registered with The Skill Genie. • Personal Information means any information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual. • AI Services refers to artificial intelligence-powered features including learning recommendations, resume evaluation, interview analysis, coding evaluation, career guidance, and personalized feedback. • Services means all products, features, subscriptions, assessments, and functionalities provided through The Skill Genie.

To deliver our services efficiently and securely, we collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Platform, and, where applicable, from authorized third-party sources. The categories of information we may collect include: • Personal identification information • Educational and professional information • Account credentials • Learning progress • Assessment results • Resume and portfolio information • Payment and subscription details • Usage analytics The information collected depends on the services you use and the permissions you provide.

When students register or use The Skill Genie, we may collect information including: • Full name • Email address • Mobile number • Date of birth (optional) • Gender (optional) • City, State, and Country • Educational qualification • College or university • Branch or specialization • Graduation year • Skills and interests • Employment preferences This information enables personalized learning recommendations, AI-powered evaluations and progress tracking.

Educational institutions using The Skill Genie may provide information including: • Institution name • Institution logo • Contact details • Address • Authorized administrators • Student enrollment information • Department details • Batch information Institution administrators may access dashboards that provide aggregated student performance, learning analytics, skill development metrics. Institutions are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority to share student information with The Skill Genie.

The Skill Genie leverages Artificial Intelligence to deliver intelligent and personalized learning experiences. AI-generated data may include: • Learning recommendations • Resume evaluation • Mock Interview performance evaluation • Mock interview feedback • Explanation of any topic • Generate Interview Questions AI-generated outputs may contain errors, limitations, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. Users, educational institutions, employers, recruiters, and other authorized users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and making their own informed academic, recruitment, employment, or business decisions. Where required by applicable law, appropriate human review should be incorporated before making decisions that materially affect individuals.

The Skill Genie uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to improve user experience, enhance platform functionality, and maintain security. Cookies help us keep users securely logged into their accounts, remember user preferences, analyze platform usage, and personalize learning experiences. Users may configure their browser settings to refuse or delete cookies. However, disabling cookies may affect certain features and functionality of the Platform.

Certain features of The Skill Genie require a paid subscription or one-time payment. Payments are processed through secure and authorized third-party payment service providers. The Skill Genie does not store complete debit card numbers, credit card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net banking passwords, or other sensitive payment credentials. Payment providers are responsible for securely processing financial transactions in accordance with applicable security standards.

Protecting your information is one of our highest priorities. We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

As our Platform grows and serves users across multiple regions, personal information may be processed or stored in countries other than the user's country of residence. We take reasonable measures to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable data protection laws.

The Skill Genie is committed to processing personal data responsibly and in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We process personal data for lawful purposes, collect only necessary information, and respect user rights under applicable law.

For users in the European Union, The Skill Genie strives to follow internationally recognized privacy principles including lawful processing, transparency, data minimization, and accountability. Where required, users may exercise applicable privacy rights.

You have control over the personal information you have shared with The Skill Genie. Subject to applicable law, you may: • Access the personal information we hold about you • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date, either from your profile settings or by contacting us • Request a copy of your data in a portable format • Withdraw consent for optional processing, such as marketing communications • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data To exercise any of these rights, write to connect@evolvexinnovations.com from the email address registered to your account. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. If we cannot fulfil a request — for example where we are required by law to retain certain records — we will tell you why.

You may delete your The Skill Genie account and the personal data associated with it at any time. You do not need to have the mobile application installed to make this request. How to request deletion: 1. Visit https://www.theskillgenie.com/account-deletion, or 2. Email connect@evolvexinnovations.com from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address or mobile number registered to your account so that we can verify the request. What is deleted: your profile details (name, email, mobile number, city, education and employment information), your learning progress and roadmaps, assessment and mock interview results, AI Tutor conversation history, resumes and uploaded files, saved notes, and your account credentials. What is retained, and for how long: records of completed financial transactions, invoices and tax documents are retained for up to eight years where Indian tax and accounting law requires it. Certificates already issued to you, and records an educational institution holds about its own students, may also be retained. Retained records are kept only for these purposes and are not used to contact you or to personalise services. Timeline: verified deletion requests are actioned within 30 days. We confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or for as long as the law requires. • Account and profile information is retained while your account is active • Learning progress, assessment results and AI-generated feedback are retained while your account is active, so that your history and certificates remain available to you • Financial and tax records are retained for up to eight years, as required by Indian law • Server and security logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting When information is no longer required, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

The Skill Genie is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where an educational institution enrols students who are minors under the law of their country, that institution is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required before sharing student information with The Skill Genie. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact connect@evolvexinnovations.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal obligations. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
